So in about 22 hours time i get on a train. i'm leaving melbourne and i'm not sure if or when i'll be coming back. as per usual, life's reared up and kicked me in the nuts quite forcefully. i'm not going to go into details and be all emo, there's no need for it. along with this move, there are a number of other changes i am intending to make. i'm going to change my phone number, and only the absolutely essential people will get the new one. and my parents are not in that group. in times of need i've gotten the bare minimum support from them, and the rest of the time i get judged to no end. i need a break from that just as much as i do everyt

imPROMPTu comptetion

so i was sitting in #dAlit, as i tend to do, and mossi-mo (https://www.deviantart.com/mossi-mo) wanted some prompts. this in turn gave me a simple comp idea. Details 1. The prompts for the comp are: a dude in a bar a skyscraper a deck of cards a star trek geek 2. all prompts must be used in the piece, otherwise it wont count. 3. entries need to be submitted and a link must be noted to me. 4. i'll throw some subs out there for prizes, or make someone donate them. 5. you've got 2 weeks to get your entries in, from midnight tonight (australian eastern standard time). 6. oh, and it's a prose comp. no poetry allowed.
